A review of New Testament Church Of God by Lucinda written on Friday 24th of September 2010
I have been a visitor to the NTCG, Lee Branch from the 60's to this present year 2010. The changing of the traditional coloir of the building has had no effect on me spiritually whatsoever, I take my heart in, focus on God, and leave feeling rejuvenated in the Holy Spirit. The recent colour painted over the building helps to brightens up the gloomy wintery days (I believe to be stuck in tradition is not creating changes in the environment). The colour of the building is not serving God, it is the kind of heart that is taken into the building, worshipping God in Spirit,in truth, and the lifting up of holiness of hands should be the focus. These are the significant things the Lord is seeking after, not the traditional English colour of a build where worship takes place. The building can be here today, gone tomorrow...focus should be on the spiritual needs of people who goes into the building that they leave with different mindset, not not on the traditional colour painted over. Times change where is all the tradional thing of the Romans, Saxon etc. Some of the builds maybe still standing, but are the origingal colours of the buildings still showing. .
