A review of The Bike Shop by Molly written on Thursday 16th of September 2010
The girl working in then was most unhelpful with my 14 year old son. I then went in there and asked for the brake pads to be changed because we thought that they were worn - she did so but informed me that there was nothing wrong with the old ones but that is what she was asked to do so that is what she did. She also replaced the back inner tube but didn't pump the tyre up. She then informed me once we had queried the efficiency of the brakes that it was in fact the front brakes that needed mending but she had not mentioned this to me as I had not asked her to do anything with the front brakes. I enquired as to whether or not it might have been a good idea for her to check the front brakes as a matter or course but she said that she only did things that she was asked. I am amazed at this attitude. I would have thought that a bike shop would have done this and reported back to me.
Some service!.
