A review of Ghandi Tandoori by Sam44 written on Wednesday 15th of September 2010
We ordered a meal from there that cost us £33. Thats not too expensive as it was for 5 people. However, the meal took just under 2 hours to arrive. To be precise, it took 1 hour 56 minutes before it arrived. I called twice to see if they had to kill the chicken for the Jalfrezi....but their excuse was weak. All they had to say was the driver was on his way. After 20 minutes, i called to cancel the order. However, the guy on the phone said the driver was 5 minutes away. Now correct me if i am wrong, but i have lived in the Plumstead all my life and i am pretty sure it does not take more than 15 minutes max to travel from Plumstead High Street to Barnfield Road. I have no idea what took them this long, but 2 hours was the longest i have waited for a really poor meal. In the end, the driver said he will only take £30. If it was just me, i would have told him where to go and gone to get a kebab. The meal was average and not worth the 2 hour wait.
I will never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Please beaware if you choose to order from this hell hole. .
