A review of King's College London by Aida Thomas written on Sunday 29th of August 2010
I was a schoolgirl at the time I stayed at King's College in 1947. A group of us from school had a wonderful time - the College accommodation took our breath away. I particularly remember the large lounge with open French windows leading out into the
gardens. It was the first time for all of us girls in London-we were taken to all the sights-theatre visits-attended a service in St.Pauls-went inside the Houses of Parliament-etc.etc. I fell in love with the place-and did not want to go home-which was unusual for me. I would love some pictures of the college-but there don't seem to be any availabe. Happy
Days! Aida Thomas.
