I totally agree with the previous reviewer. This is not a service-oriented surgery at all. Everything is made difficult and they seem to take pleasure in making it that way!

I recently had the same trouble as the last reviewer - I had to travel to India for work and phoned 3 weeks before my trip. I was pretty much told I couldn't have an appointment - even to see a nurse - to get my injections done, so consequently had to go to a private walk-in clinic, where I was seen within about 10 minutes!

I know it's the NHS, but the waste and inefficiency is incredible. If they could even do a few little things like allow you to book appointments online, or order prescriptions online...or even if they had a phone that actually worked and didn't go round in never ending "press X if you want Y...etc." cycle that eventually just cuts you off!

I have wasted so much time leaving work to go all the way down there to personally deposit my repeat prescription request, then go back and collect it 3 days later (because they couldn't possibly turn it round any sooner!) only to find that they've given me the wrong thing or that they've deliberately prescribed me one month's worth - in this case of contraceptives that I have been taking for years - just to make sure that 4 weeks later I have to go through the same rigmarole! I mean, do they not have real work to do?!

I have been trying to resist BUPA for a while, but my patience is wearing thin....
