"Difficult receptionists and no same day appointments"

I completely agree with previous reviews - the doctors are all great, and it's really good they do early morning appointments to help those of us that work long hours, however I have had numerous problems with the receptionists (particularly the older ones), who always seem to be somewhat difficult and unhelpful. Not only is it always impossible to get a same day appointment (after trying every 30 seconds since 8am on the dot to get through, when you finally do get through half an later, you are told that you should have phoned earlier....) but when actually at the surgery I have had to wait on several occasions for them to finish chatting about how demanding patients are nowadays and how rude it is when patients talk about their "rights" etc. Maybe save that talk for when patients aren't waiting..
