"THOMSON TROOPS TO THE RESCUE !!"

Devastated by the cloud of Icelandic volcanic ash - and really worried about getting home and stretching funds etc. - your reps. starting with RACHEL - who rescued us from our apartments and brought us to a really nice hotel [Princess Gran Canaria]. Then taken care of by Liam and Yvette who attended to our every need - including some very important medications for my partner. They kept us up to date as often as they had news, and never 'disappeared' - they were always in contact.

I would hope that they get a big thankyou from us. Of course there was some stress involved, but it was totally minimised by their attentions. I don't know if you have the facility to let them know how much it meant to us, but if possible I would love to thank them personally. At least their employers should know that they have some sterling staff, and give them a pat on the back!!
