We stayed near the British Museum while in London recently, and we wanted to eat breakfast somewhere other than our hotel due to costs. We came across Bush and Fields our third day and ate there every day afterward with the exception of Sunday when the cafe is closed.

Food is excellent and fresh. The staff members are very personable and welcoming. While we only ate brerakfast there, the food in the cases looked lovely as did the menu items for lunch/dinner.

The best part for us was the fact that it isn't a tourist spot. Real Brits are there having breakfast along with people coming to visit the museum. We were always the only Americans there.
