I was baptized in 1939 and attended St. Joseph"s School until I was 11 years old, then going on to Notre Dame Southwark. I made my communion in the church and was confirmed there by Archbishop-Bishop Amigo. My parents and several of my Aunts and Uncles were married there. My Grandparents lived almost opposite the church when their family was young. My Uncle John was killed in the woodyard beside the school when he was 11 years old, climbing the school wall into the yard to collect a soccer ball kicked over from the yard. Timber stacks collapsed on him. He was John O'Brien and my name was Patricia Earl. I am now Patricia Thomas living in Queensland, Australia. I have three daughters, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren..
