SCHOOL CHOIR OF THE YEAR

Dear Head and Pupils,

I've just listened to BBC Choir of the Year competition and would like to congratulate you all,choirmistress and lovely girls on your winning the competition. Your sincerity and joyfilled singing were really special. I was particularly delighted that you won as long ago in the '60s I taught in St.Vincent's Secondary Modern School in Carlisle Place which eventually amalgamated with Maria Fidelis and it gave me great joy to see the same happy spirit in the girls as I remember in those far off days. Congratulations everyone. I feel so proud for you.
