A review of Driscoll House by STEPHEN THOMPSON written on Tuesday 16th of February 2010
My late father {frederick william thompson} and myself [stephen] both had/ have wonderful memories of the driscoll house hotel, We stayed twice during the 1980s,
On arrival on our first visit we were greeted very warmly by Mr Driscoll personally, [i am sorry to read about his death R.I.P.]
HE [MR DRISCOLL], promptly guided us to the dining hall for our evening meal, [it was more like a banquet}. Which we both thouroughly enjoyed after our long journey from Sunderland.
The above set us up for a brilliant week in the capital. Thanks once again
STEPHEN THOMPSON.P.S could you please forward me a brochre to 3 Tatham Street, Sunderland, SR1 2QD..
