"Transforming the life of my son"

Dr Hilali Noordeen is seen to be just what he is... a gentle man, and a very gifted surgeon. At the perfect time in my son's life, he was introduced by Dr Mohd Charaani of the Hamad Hospital to Dr Noordeen, who performed the Titanium X surgery... and gave my son his life back, after 15 years of extreme pain, and many years of not being allowed even to run or jump.

Stephen grew 5 inches in that week following the surgery as his spine straightened out, and he went on a couple of years later to become a sailing instructor as well as a extremely fit young man, even going on to participate in the Sail the Gulf Event, as well as the sailing Makhtoum Trophy in Dubai.

My son had only pain and perhaps a wheelchair to look forward to in his younger years, but meeting Dr Hilali changed all that. We are most grateful to his handiwork, and he will always feature in our celebrations of life, no matter where we are.

Thank you Dr. Hilali. May your own life be as blessed as you make others.
