A review of Shoihee Shonah Tandoori by Jonerrrr written on Thursday 21st of January 2010
Having abdicated as King Shonah a few years ago in a move
east, I'm still ovewhelmed by the urge for a '17 St James's Drive' as the proprietor's wife came to know it (lamb vindaloo, sag aloo, keema naan). And even though I'm now Head Of State at the Dulwich Tandoori ( the only other Vinda-vendor I've sampled on my quest for the Cup of Allah that can match the Shoihee for sheer 3rd degree ring-burn), when the calling comes, I jump on the bat phone and my medicine still arrives (via the A205 now) within the promised "45 to 50 minutes, sab". I too stand firm behind the exhalted eggy side, but one gentle warning from this Shoihee ssuperfan; avoid the mixed veg. .
