A review of Geraldine Daly by Doug Crawford written on Monday 11th of January 2010
In other professions we would say "she has learnt her skills through the ranks." I discovered by research that Ms Daly had started her career as a staff-nurse in the City Hospital in Cork, Ireland. Coming to London she progressed within the NHS, appointed to taking elaborate electronic readings for diagnosis of confusing conditions at the National Hospital of Nervous Diseases in Queens Square, London. It was here she discovered that many top professonals were able to discuss what they didn't know and the benefits of alternative medicine. Adjacent was the Italian hospital in London, and many of the practitioners there would contribute to the debates. Although she never qualified as a doctor, Ms Daly had extensive practical experience in dealing with skin and emotional conditions refered to the specialists, who in their way were experimenting to see what would work.
Following this work she was employed by a leading private hearing-aid specialist in London using the latest technological break-thoughs at the time (1980s.)
After 7 years on staff she set up her own practice in a premises just off Harley Street. My experience was amongst musicians and broadcasters who would visit to assess any damage to hearing, and obtain discreet inner-ear earphones to use while on camera for TV.
With such wide experience, and the charm of one who genuinely cares to get a positive result, Ms Daly deserves a recommendation.
Doug Crawford.
