"What a mistake!!"

All the good reviews were about Balham but being closer to Brixton I decided to visit that branch.

Hype being an awarded hairdressers I had high hopes. They quickly vanished as I witnessed the lack of organisation with the appointments system, stylists wandering about aimlessly despite there being waiting customers. It got worse as junior stylists gossip around the sink creating an unwelcoming ambiance.

Finally after waiting over half an hour to get my hair washed, then I had a stylist who had no comprehension of blow-drying with a brush (you would think this would be the basic requirement for a stylist) so I had to wait for someone who had those skills.

If my hair wasn’t wet at this point I would have left and having to top up my parking ticket with wet hair and a towel due to their lack of organisation skills angered me even more.

Its clear they are not used to catering to customers who have obligations and require efficient service.
