A review of Chandler Wright Hair by Emma written on Wednesday 25th of November 2009
After reading the largely stellar reviews of this salon both here and elsewhere, i decided to give it a go. i got an appointment only hours after i called, which was great. the girl who washed my hair was lovely, and the salon itself was funkily decorated, so the ambience was good. however, after explaining to pearse (pronounced 'piers') that i hated my current haircut, that i would like a long fringe and some layers cut into it as well as any other general restyling that he saw fit, he essentially gave it a trim, refused to cut any layers or a long fringe, and told me that this would not suit my hair. i trusted his expert judgement, but can't help feeling that paying £50 to be a) ignored and b) basically just get a trim is not good. i'm not happy with my cut, it definitely wasn't worth the money, and i won't be going there again..
