"Great day at New ID Studios "

I had a fantastic day at the New ID Birmingham Branch. My best friend signed me up for the experience with Buy a Gift. I have to admit I was really nervous but as soon as I got to the salon I felt great. I was greeted by James the manager who has to be one of the friendliest people I have ever met and he explained how the day would pan out and then Alexia took me to a really comfortable seating area where I filled out a consultation form that really put me at ease because I must admit I was slightly concerned that I would be transformed into something a bit too space age for my liking, the form not only asked what sort of look and photos I wanted to achieve but even things like products I don’t like using on my hair, if I had allergies and what colours that I actually like to wear. Feeling a lot more relaxed I was put into the capable hands of Kelly who did my hair and it looked fantastic, Kelly went through all of the different hair products that suited my hair type and was really friendly and informative. Then it was onto make up where Lorna worked her magic and made me look amazing. Lorna told me all about the products and gave me some great advice as well as filling in a template with exactly what she had used so I can re created the same look for myself. Once the make up was complete I had my nails polished and then it was back into the hair salon to re touch my hair and then I changed into the first of my four outfits and Lucas worked his magic and made me feel totally relaxed and not self conscious at all. I took in four outfits and felt basically pretty hot in all of them! Lucas worked wonders for my self esteem and the end result was astounding I had no idea I could look that good. I have read a few reviews that mention that the staff at New ID really push you into spending money and buying more than you can afford well I didn’t find that to be the case at all, admittedly I spent way more than I had planned on spending but that was because I was so impressed with the photographs I just wanted all of them! it probably sounds really conceited but I looked so fantastic on the shots it seemed crazy not to buy them all, so I have to watch the pennies for a while but I have a fantastic new hair do and a big dollop of inspiration to make the best of myself from now on as well as the photographs and frankly I think its worth pulling my belt in to look that good. I might not be able to afford another make over and photo shoot in immediate future but I will certainly be going back to get my hair cut by Kelly who is the best hairdresser I have come across in Birmingham and I will definitely be using the New ID cosmetics in future that frankly are not that expensive and are really great quality.

I think New ID are totally professional and friendly and the atmosphere in the studio is fun and funky and I really thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would encourage anybody that is tired of feeling a bit drab to go and be inspired as I was!
