A review of Kings Kebab House by Jessica Hsu written on Monday 21st of September 2009
I've been there whilst on a stay i London for 6 months and discovered it accidentally when I was pretty broke that month and had to finda quick fx for food.
They do the standard things for the kebab menu but plenty of variety for the Greek menu, which they lay down pots of greek food in the display area and people would come into buy it by the grams.
tried a few things - chicken sharma, gyro but the lamb shish kebab I would say is the best.
They also have someone near the entrance area kneading the dough and roasting it in thier self made clay oven for the naan bread so everything is fresh and tasty!
They roast raw pieces of meat in front of you and the lamb pieces are super juicy
Also they add a lot of veggies into the kebab so when you bite into it, you could feel the cool crunchy lettuce against the piping hot lamb pieces plus the garlic mint sauce they add (and optional chilli sauce) really brings out the flavour of the lamb.
Not sure aboutt he greek food though as those are sharing platters and quite pricey. They have a seperate dine in area at the back of the shop.
Anyway would really recommend it to anyone who happened to be around that corner of Earls court.
I would definitely pay another visit if I were to return to UK.
