Room standard: +++++ (Great - No question there)

Staff: ++++ (1 rude manager, otherwise great)

Overall Impression: +++

We visited the hotel this summer and it is situated in a ghetto basically. You'll pass a lot of shady stuff and garbage on the way there from Bethnal Green.

The room and the room service was excellent. If you need anything, say you forgot shave gel or something, they'll arrange that for you at no cost.

The english breakfast was ok, considering it set the mood for the stay. The actual quality of the breakfast left a little to be desired - not bad though.

The staff was polite and helpful, except the one manager that accused us of trying to evade the bus fare and talked down to us. So if the hotel gets rid of him, the only downside is the location.

Communications were great, a short walk from the subway at Bethnal Green (you can also take the bus from outside the hotel if you wish).

The stay was pleasant, but the manager frankly ruined the overall impression of our stay. .
