My friend in Balham came down with Swine Flu this weekend, bad enough that she wasn't up to sorting it out. She lives by herself so she called me. We went through the Pandemic Flu website thing and got an authorisation code for Tamiflu, but we had no way of getting the pills to her. I called NHS Direct, her GP, Wandsworth PCT, the Pandemic Flu helpline, etc. going around in circles. No-one could help, and my friend was feeling worse and worse.

I finally called some of the pharmacies dispensing Tamiflu in her area, and while they couldn't help, they directed me to call Westbury Chemists in Streatham. They sorted it all out, and a few hours later (Sunday 9.30pm!), they knocked on my friend's door with the pills in hand!

This is a massive weight off my mind, and my friend is feeling a lot better just knowing that she's now got the pills she's meant to have. We're both really grateful to them for helping us out. In lieu of a proper thank-you to them, I'd like to urge anyone reading this to take your business to them if you're in the area!.
