"Mr Grebby & Mrs Martin"

A review of Fossdene Primary School by GEOFFREY WEBB written on Tuesday 14th of July 2009

Yes, I remember them both. Mr Grebby was the deputy Head (Mrs Martin the head), and Mr Grebby looked a little like an older version of Adolf Hitler as I recall.

My teacher at the time was Mrs Rampasaud , although I do remember other teachers such as Miss Roe(Row?), Miss Scott (the music teacher),Mrs Fletcher & Mrs Robert (Robere). Mrs Lauren was the playground assistant and Mr Roy (with his old banger Reg 250MPH....yes I still remember it !!!)was the sports teacher.If anyone wants any more info I might be able to assist. I attended Fossdene from 1962 to 1968 and can be found on the friends reunited website under Geoffrey Webb, where there are more names of old school pals.

I still look back at Fossdene as probably the best days of my Schooling and would love to get a reunion together sometime. Best wishes Geoff.
