A review of Queens College Preparatory School by Anon written on Tuesday 16th of June 2009
I have two daughters at this school and have been extremely impressed with it. My daughters skip in every day and have always had teachers that they adore. The classes are not too big - my elder daughter has 14 in her class this year and two teachers, the classrooms are set in beautiful Robert Adam designed rooms - most with large windows and elegant georgian fireplaces, they are right by Regents Park for games and sports days and most importantly the school seems to have some of the loveliest teachers I have ever met. So far my girls have had teachers who are kind and sympathetic but also lively, fun and quite firm. It is a traditional girls school with a delightful tartan uniform for the younger girls with a straw hat. It seems to cope very well with both the very driven intelligent girls to whom it offers extra 'challenges' to keep them stimulated and the girls who are less academic. It excells at nurturning a love of learning in the girls and has excellent pastoral care. I have seen both my children blossom and grow in confidence at this school. There is a strong emphasis on kindness to others, good manners and charity. .
