If you live in north Staffordshire and want to be entertained by a light hearted play, then Uncle Eric is for you.
The plays are set in the 1960's, with the hits from the decade ( and early '70's) performed on stage by a band of fine musicains and singers. Audience participation is a must.
These plays are losely set around a couple Eric and Madge and their side kick, who is Hippy Dave a spaced out hippy. Eric is a shallow, thoughtless man, who believes (like most over the hill middle aged men) he is Gods gift to the younger women. Whilst Madge, the poor wife somehow manages to keep Eric on the straight and narrow.
These are enjoyable plays, you don't have to think, just go have a good time. And you can even meet the cast in the bar at the end of the show but don't be surprised, because at times they are a bit shy and keep away if the bar gets too crowded..
