"Complacency has set in!"

I have been going to Hype in Balham for just over two years and I agree with many of the comments.

Hype can be really great and other times the customer service can be really poor. However the new receptionist has always been consistently friendly.

I do feel that complacentcy has set in with Hype in Balham. They have got used to me regularly getting my hair done every couple of weeks and so do not make a as much effort. I have had a few bad experiences where my scalp has been burnt due to relaxing and when the issue has been raised to Anne she may give you a bit of a discount but there has never been a proper apology from Anne or the stylist!

The constant price variations has become frustrating, particulary at a time when budgeting and making money stretch further is of high importance.

Going forwards I am going to limit my visits to Hype and shop around to see what the experience will be like at other hair salons..
