"I guess they don't need my business."

I usually rave about the place because they give you so much for so little in right in Holborn. However, if the cost is mistreatment, count me out.

Today when I went in, I couln't find the lunch menu. So I asked where it was. The Brazilian at the counter didn't understand me, so she got her friend. The told me that the board just wasn't up yet.

I then asked if it would be as fast as usual, and she said that it would be a quarter of an hour, which is not as fast as usual, since the lunch specials were not ready yet. So I opted for the three pound veggie breakfast. She tried to charge me £3.50, and I pointed out that it was three. She said.. "uh..... extra 50p for lunch time".

I explained to her that I was only getting the breakfast because lunch wasn't ready yet, and that it was crazy to charge me a lunch time surcharge.

Her response was to start talking portuguese to a co worker about something un related and pretend I wasn't there.

It's a shame. Whenever I go for lunch with co workers, I usually opt for the place. I thought that I had found a good place in the city. But I guess they don't need my business or that of my co workers..
