A review of The Rubens At The Palace by May Singleton written on Saturday 14th of March 2009
My sister and I booked a twin bedded room for one night. Not the largest of rooms but tastefully decorated and very clean. I must mention the extremely comfortable beds. We had booked the evening meal and breakfast. This is food UNEQUALLED in taste and presentation. In a nutshell, this hotel is luxorious but not overbearing and situated in a safe area behind the palace. We even spotted an MP walk in, he obviously knows a good place to be. The staff are courteous and nothing is too much trouble. Even after booking out, we were able to store our cases in order to view the sights of London, back to the hotel, a tasty hot steak baguette and coffee, then change our clothes to go home. We will definately be back. .
