"Rude Receptionist"

Vijay is a great, skilled dentist but he is infortunately let down by the receptionists and other dentist there (not his wife, she is very polite and understanding).

I was a private patient there, who unfortunately had an emergency with my teeth (an absyss)

when I tried to get emergency treatment there, I was told by the receptionist that because i had not bothered to book an appointment, I could not be seen!

(how can you pre-book an emergency??? Im not psychic!!) and she would not even try to persuede the lady dentist to see me, who "was having a bad day" and that she did not want to get told off by her for trying to fit in a non appointment emergency!

I really could not believe my ears!

So i went to Vijays other practice in Thamesmead (Joyce Dawson way) and he fitted me in (no appointment) without any fuss at all.

As for the appointments, I have always had trouble booking appointments, usually you have to allow 2 weeks, so if your teeth are beginning to hurt, I suggest you book as quick as you can..
