I have just read "shares, a beginners guide to making money" published by Wisebuy Publications.

I liked this a lot, very straightforward and not too much technical jargon.

It's a shame it hasn't been kept up to date. For example it says the LSE closes at 3.30PM. I remember that, befor BIG Bang, wasn't it?

Also the Glossary is a bit weak. Just the usual terms; no mention of jargon like 'the book', 'order driven', 'spread', 'jobber's turn' etc.etc.
