"How could it go so wrong?"

A review of Satya Indian Restaurant by Masala muncher written on Tuesday 3rd of February 2009

Searching for some dosas we arrived at Satyas and were seated in a very nice area extremely quickly, unfortunately the evening deteriorated rapidly after this.

It took over 30 minutes for them to take our order, it wasnt even a packed evening! I seriously think they just forgot about us because when we finally did get our orders in, the drinks took another 20 minutes, they only arrived after I begged the bar staff to supply them.

The fact that they cheekily add the 10% service to the bill means they really dont care if they serve u well or not. In my opinion they just couldnt be bothered.

The dosas were cold, tasted more like paper (not that i eat paper that much) and they served the most miniscule portion of coconut chutney for us to share!

Talk about useless service, they brought our desserts with the main meal, as if we were going to mix them all together, at least the desserts tasted half decent but i suppose you cant really get that wrong as they came pre packed.

Price wise, it was a complete rip off for the poor quality food and service, you can easily get better and cheaper elsewhere in West London, and at least it will be served hot..
