About Yi-Ban - Royal Albert Dock

Yi-Ban translates as First Class, so you know how high this establishment is aiming. Set overlooking calm waters at the Dockside Regatta Centre, Yi-Ban has vast, modern spaces full of sunlight and looking out on stunning views. There are smart, sleek design details everywhere in the groovy bar, the cool restaurant, even on the linger-inducing terrace with some Chinese red and gold tactfully employed a well. It has the traditional gigantic Chinese menu, including classic dishes and dim sum, with particular emphasis on the fish and seafood side of things. We always go for Peking or crispy duck, but the shark’s fin soup is a favourite, as are the noodle dishes. The full bar with view and terrace makes this a terrific place to gather after work.
