HM Tower of London
About HM Tower of London
Sending someone to the Tower doesn’t mean punishment anymore - now it means there’s a party! HM Tower of London is one of the most impressive venues you could choose for major celebrations, launches, meetings, and banquets. After all, royalty have been choosing it since medieval times, and it is the only place in London that is still a royal palace and where one can entertain, literally, like royalty. A variety of settings is available for your event. The Wren-designed King’s Guard Chamber is reached via a stupendous staircase, it’s decorated with historic arms, and overlooks the lovely Privy Gardens. It seats up to 120 or accommodates 200 standing. The Jewel House is right for smaller receptions of 15 - 80. You enter through the Hall of Monarchs then enjoy a private viewing of the most famous collection of treasures in the world. (Private viewings may be combined with a main event elsewhere at the Tower.) The ancient White Tower, built by William the Conquerer, is remarkable for its age, setting, size and decor, making it a worthy choice for very special events. It can
accommodate up to 220 for a fork buffet or up to 250 for a drinks reception. The Medieval Palace was the residence of kings and queens, and is decorated in the style of Edward I’s reign. It is a lovely choice for summer receptions, holding from 120 - 150. The New Armouries and the Headquarters
of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers are both well-equipped for meetings or conferences, accommodating from 15 - 100. Guests may enjoy private viewings of the Crown Jewels, or witness the Ceremony of the Keys from the Traitors’ Gate. Different halls and rooms may be booked to combine, say, a conference
with a dinner. A list of approved caterers and suppliers is available, so that you choose the right menu for the event.
