For a slice of southern Louisiana charm in the heart of London - head on down to Henry’s Café Bar in Mayfair. This poised and polished restaurant - part American café, part British brasserie - is located between the Ritz and Buckingham palace on Piccadilly and is popular with locals for business breakfasts, leisurely lunches and after-work cocktails. The grand interior boasts high ceilings, stained glass skylights and parquet floors, and Henry’s has an excellent international/British menu as well as free wi-fi and fresh, roasted coffee. Signature dishes include the leek and Gorgonzola risotto; the 21 day aged sirloin steak served with fries, pan-fried cherry tomatoes and Béarnaise sauce; and the delicious baked vanilla cheesecake served with warm chocolate sauce.
