Cosy and welcoming, candlelit elegance is crossed with a rustic trattoria inspired interior complete with iron coach lanterns providing atmospheric lighting and unbleached linen curtains at the windows. Filled with locals, Casa Frattini is the kind of place whispered about from friend to friend and called in to action for those romantic dinners for two. The food, at the risk of a cliché, is just like mama makes, with a little added sophistication.

- Calamari in tocio (baby squid cooked in garlic, chilli and tomatoes sauce, served with crostone bread)
- Gamberoni alla griglia (grilled king prawns served with fennel, cherry tomatoes and black olives, salad and dressed with an orange, vanilla and chilli sauce)
- Dadolada di manzo con spinacino in salsa di limone di Sorrento (beef fillet tartar served with baby spinach in light lemon dressing)

- Tagliata di manzo (grilled beef fillet with roasted new potatoes and French beans wrapped on smoked pancetta)
- Sella d'agnello scottato in padella (pan fried rump of lamb served with grilled aubergine, rocket and mint paste)
