Set on the mezzanine level of this superb converted Victorian hospital, The Dispensary Dining Room is a stylish venue for discreet working lunches or romantic tables for two. Located just around the corner from Aldgate East tube station and the Whitechapel High Street, the dining room is decorated with gunmetal grey wallpaper, posh table settings and black leather chairs, and attracts local media types and fashionable foodies. The Dispensary boasts a superb international wine list as well as a modern British menu with a classic twist. Expect dishes such as the smoked haddock fishcakes with a free range egg; the porcini mushroom and white truffle ravioli with sage butter and Parmesan; and the selection of British cheese with quince jelly.
