The centre of London's thriving Theatreland is probably not the first place you'd expect to find a good, old fashioned carvery. But then, there's nothing old fashioned about the Strand Palace Hotel, home to the Strand Carvery. With warm, contemporary tones throughout and up to the minute furnishings, the Strand Carvery is nothing like the worn old diners that your grandparents frequent. With a selection of European a la carte dishes, the menu is ideal for any occasion. But it is, of course, the carvery that impresses - with a cold buffet selection followed by a selection of joints from beef to gammon plus all the trimmings not to mention real comfort food puddings including spotted dick and apple crumble.
