Dining at The Green Room in West Hampstead is an absolute delight. Run by Kelly O’Keefe - a former fashion stylist, and her Parisian restaurateur fiancée Laurent Richer, this chic boutique-style neighbourhood restaurant - with silver flock wallpaper, chandeliers and tan leather banquettes - is a fabulous addition to the West Hampstead dining scene. Richer previously worked at the Hotel de Crillon and Maze, and the menu is an assured collection of classic French and Italian recipes with a contemporary twist. We love the fillet of beef with Lyonnais potatoes, black peppercorn sauce and parsnip chips, and the fish stew packed with prawns, cod, mussels, langoustine and vegetables topped with pastry. The Green Room has an exceptional and affordable wine list.
