If you love your carbs half as much as we do, you will adore the menu at Café Pasta in High Holborn. Bright and colourful, this restaurant is busy with business types at lunch, and a more chilled out local crowd in the evenings. The vast dining room has green walls, bright red canvases and wooden floors, and popular dishes here include the classic spaghetti bolognese; the Pizza Carne made with Parma ham and spicy pepperoni; and the lamb cooked in a balsamic glaze and served with mashed potatoes and roasted plum tomatoes.
