This tropical, cosmopolitan restaurant-come-cocktail-lounge on the Exmouth market, between Islington and Clerkenwell, is a fun venue popular with local media types and fashionistas. Cottons has a sunny Caribbean theme and the cavernous dining room is decorated with eclectic chandeliers and salmon-pink walls; downstairs you’ll find the Rhum Jungle, an exclusive basement bar and lounge. Cottons is busy for business lunches, happy hour cocktails and chilled out evening meals. We love the spicy Caribbean menu and favourite dishes include the Trinidadian Mixed Fish Curry with green peppers, lemongrass, yams and coconut rice; and the Salt Fish Skewers Cottons style served with shallots, a hint of Scotch Bonnet and spiced mango chutney.
