The hugely impressive Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, with its views across London and proximity to shops, sights and entertainment, is home to Park Terrace, a lavish restaurant with a contemporary twist. A light, airy lobby level room, Park Terrace opens out on to lush greenery, fooling you in to thinking that you're anywhere but the city. And with classical sculptures carrying the ceiling above their heads you could almost be in a Tuscan mansion, among the olive groves. The modern British menu brings you back to this side of Europe with a delicious collection of dishes prepared using locally sourced top quality ingredients such as New Forest venison or Dorset scallops.
