Via Condotti
About Via Condotti
Via Condotti in London's premiere shopping district, Mayfair, is named for Rome's premiere shopping street. Via Condotti is another restaurant from Claudio Pulze, the man behind Zafferano, with chef Pasquale Amico who has already cooked for you at Cecconi's and Refettorio. It's a lovely, little, local, neighbourhood restaurant that critics rave over. Suffused with light, the restaurant has neutral colours, leather seating, designer lighting, antique Italian advertisements, all with bags of style. The menu is a return to Italian classics, with dishes like ravioli with scarmorza cheese, sun-dried tomato, chilli, tomato and basil sauce, a little tower of parmigiana di melanzane, signature slow-cooked rabbit, and lovely, lemony delizia di Sorrento for dessert. Excellent wines and smiling service.
