Robin Hood Zorro restaurant in Hammersmith is an Anglo-Mexican eating house that spices up West London dining nicely. Smaller than some of the cavernous Mexicans around, it's lively without being overpowering. As well as the usual menu suspects (all done very well), there are starters like grilled cockles and bacon, finished with white wine and a dash of cream, or breaded chillies filled with sour cream and cheese. The mains menu is divided into a great selection of grills, wraps, salads or fajitas, and there are some delicious continent-crossing dishes like picadillo (spicy minced beef) or pork shank cooked in cider and apple sauce.
