Four o nine restaurant and bar in Clapham is a relaxing hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the High Street. The vibe is warm and inviting, with a fairy-lit garden at the top of the stairs and stunning shots of the area on the walls. Modern French food is created with love, seasonal produce and top-notch ingredients by Chef Andre Dupin. Start with the decadent foie gras and chicken liver parfait with toasted brioche, then try the fresh-as-a daisy roast cod, perfectly accessorised with olive oil mash and sweet pepper compote. Desserts include rice pudding with pineapple and passionfruit salad pear and almond tart with Jersey cream, and a crème brûlée that will make you think you've died and gone to heaven.
