Fresh from Milan and Rome comes a new concept in eating - the mighty mozzarella bar! Suitably at home in Women's Superbrands on the second floor of Selfridges, Obika is ever-so sophisticated - slick, clean, stylish, with Italian staff wafting between the large shared table and the smaller café tables. The famous soft cheese is offered smoked, grilled, baked and accompanied by salads, cold meats and salamis, vegetable ratatouilles and fish carpaccios. Mozzarella Bar: Choice of hand made Mozzarella di Bufala Campana from Paestum or Piana del Volturno, accompanied by a tasting of the following Italian Specialities, served with Salad:
- Pomodorini con pesto di basilico (cherry tomatoes and light basil pesto)
- Verdure di stagione grigliate (grilled seasonal vegetables)
- Caponata alla siciliana (vegetable and tomato casserole)
- Prosciutto di cinghiale (wild boar prosciutto)
- Prosciutto crudo di sauris (a rare and delicate prosciutto from Sauris, near San Daniele)
