Lutyens Restaurant
About Lutyens Restaurant
Lutyens is named in honour of the prolific 20th century English architect who designed the impressive redbrick building that houses it - today the luxury 4-star Jurys Great Russell Street hotel. Sir Edwin would probably approve of this airy dining room with its elegant sash windows, sleek burgundy columns and dark-wood furnishings where the atmosphere is surprisingly homely. Sophisticated European cooking is led by Paul O’Brien, a devotee of seasonal produce. As the AA put it when it awarded Lutyens a rosette again in 2005, this is a restaurant where "quality ingredients speak for themselves". The varied menu changes every season, but typical dishes include roast corn-fed chicken supreme stuffed with smoked salmon, and roast cod fillet soft served with smoked pork and sauce Choron. Steaks are popular.
Lutyen is a AA Rosette awarded restaurant.
