About The Terrace - SW19
The Terrace restaurant in Wimbledon is handily placed in the Centre Court Shopping Centre, making a great place for a mid-shop lunch as well as an after-work drink or full-on dinner. There's a long bar, a dance floor and armchairs for relaxing as well as lots of room for dining a deux or in a large group. Outside, a large terrace circles the restaurant and there's a glass conservatory area. Start with moules marinières, the mussels fresh from the fishmonger, or a tangy goat's cheese bruschetta. Mains include everything from pastas and wood-fired pizzas to Thai red lamb curry, seared tuna steak and sticky BBQ ribs. There's a good choice of well-priced wines and some wicked cocktails - try the Key West Cooler, a deceptively refreshing mix of Smirnoff vodka, Archers, Malibu and Midori, layered with orange and cranberry juice.
