Opened in 1978, Ciro’s Knightsbridge is the original pizzeria that gave birth to an international chain of popular celebrity-themed Italian restaurants. Walls are covered in photos of the stars who come here, many with their arms round Ciro, the owner. And the menu lists which pizza they like best. Sophia Loren’s favourite? Napoli - mozzarella, tomato, olives, capers and anchovies . Being a small place, the atmosphere here is always lively and really friendly. Regulars know that Ciro’s is all about sharing tables, drinks and good times. From 9pm every night there’s live music, from pop to jazz and Spanish flamenco. An unique place with lots of atmosphere, and great fun.
