deVille restaurant is part of The Mandeville Hotel in fashionable Marylebone Village. If fashion means elegance, grand design and attention to detail, then deVille is on its way up London's hot list. Weimaraner brown and white patterned floral wallpaper gracefully steals the scene in a chic, sultry space. In contrast, white linen tables set with gleaming cutlery and well-polished wine glasses are a picture of restraint. A brasserie-style menu is a modern British mix of seasonal comfort food, such as roast cod in a herby crust served with a pea puree and tomato dressing, and exotic surprises - Chinese spiced confit duck leg with soy noodles and broccoli being a fine example. Next door is deVigne Bar, atmospheric scene of after-work cocktail and champagne drinking.
