Duchess of Rutland

It was while staying at her mother's, the Dowager Duchess of Beaufort's house in Berkeley Square, that the Duchess of Rutland heard of the desperate state of her husband, who was then at Bangor, and who died before she could reach him, on 24th October 1787.
