Dulwich College and Picture Gallery The College was founded in 1619, by Edward Alleyn, under Letters Patent of King James I. , and is now a fine School Building. Erected in 1870. One of the large middle class schools of London. The Picture Gallery Contains some tine pictures by Murillo, Poussin, and especially of Cuyp, Wouverman, Rembrandt, and others of the Dutch and Flemish Schools. Admission Free, from 10 to 4, Saturdays included, between May and September. Distance by rail, 5 miles. London, Chatham and Dover Railway.
